Ancients
A very basic page. My idea of collection ancients is not much. Little to no expertise, but Ancients are a fascinating group that I hope to expand into at some point. In the mean time, it's basically a page with a few coins that feature themes that I am fond of (mythological beasts and sighthound type dogs).
Illyria silver drachm c. 250-200 BC. Poorly centered, but features a cow with suckling calf and running hound below. Combines a favored theme (hound) with a favored location (Illyria being located where Albania now exists).
