Horses
A gallery of many of my favorite images from horse related medals.
Below are full pictures and varying levels of descriptions of some examples.

Picture
Restall, James A (1859-1938).  Birmingham.  The St. George  seen here is 'after Wyon', this design being original to William Wyon for a medal made as a private commission for Prince Albert in 1844 or 1845.

Quintin Hogg was a tea and sugar merchant in London.   Among his philanthropist concerns was educational reform.  He established several schools including the Young Men's Christian Institute.  After expansion, a move and further expansion the school is still active as the University of Westminster.
This medal is edge marked "E. Bailey, Drawing of Landau 1889".  No metal content noted but appears to be silvered bronze. (A landau is a 4-wheeled carriage by the way).

Picture
Signed K. Lang and consistent with iron.  Dated 1916 and the reverse translates to 'Red Cross Mödling' (a city in Austria).  Given the dates, the patient with a head bandage it does appear to be a WWI medal.

Picture
Blin, Edouard-Pierre (1877-1946).  Bronze, 50 mm.  "L ' Aurore"  or  "Aurora and Four Horses".

This medal could easily have been included on the mythological themed page as well.
